Sustainability Practice
About the Practice:
The Sustainability Practice at the Canadian Urban Institute (CUI) aims to explore and innovate on the intersections of land use, transportation, resource planning and economic development. We collaborate with municipal planning teams, local utilities, provincial power authorities, developers and other important stakeholders to monitor and plan for energy, water security and ecological protection. The Sustainability Practice works to develop practical plans and implementation strategies to achieve the environmental goals and targets of various stakeholders, while promoting employment opportunities, as well as healthy and vibrant cities.
Products and Services:

Utility & District Energy Market Support
Conservation and Climate Change Adaptation
The Sustainability Practice is part of the Institute's Urban Solutions Branch.
