The City of Toronto is looking at drawing new ward boundaries, its first new set since 2000. It’s also thinking about changing the number of wards and therefore the size of Council. Chris Selley, Matt Gurney, and NOW‘s Jonathan Golds

Only now, 15 years later, is Toronto embarking on a proper project to craft a new map that meets its needs. The Toronto Ward Boundary Review (aka Draw the Lines) involves a team of outside consultants who are looking at what will be required for “effective representation” through 2031.
