THE MID-RISE DATABASE

The Mid-Rise Database is a pilot project involving Mississauga, Markham and the City of Toronto. Data on built mid-rise projects from these municipalities is presented as an Interactive Web Map . The Canadian Urban Institute (CUI) will be expanding the database to include information from the other municipalities in the Greater Golden Horseshoe covered by the Growth Plan.

The purpose of the database is to provide elected officials, municipal staff, designers, developers and builders and resident associations with a one stop source of information on built mid-rise development projects in their community context.

The mid-rise database is being developed by the Canadian Urban Institute with support from the Government of Ontario.
