KENN RICHARD - Founding Executive Director, Native Child and Family Services of Toronto Kenn receives this Award for his work providing caring and healing for Indigenous families in the GTA. Over the course of thirty years, he has made significant and tangible contributions to making the future better for Indigenous children and is recognized as a leader in the evolution of off reserve services for Indigenous people.

JOSIE SCIOLI - Deputy City Manager, Internal Corporate Services, City of Toronto Josie receives receives this Award, together with the The Atmospheric Fund's Julia Langer, for her leadership role in  Transform TO, an initiative to reduce Toronto's greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 80% by 2050. Josie  provides leadership and strategic vision to the City's Facilities Management, Real Estate Services, Fleet Services, 311 Toronto, Information & Technology and Environment & Energy divisions.

JULIA LANGER - CEO, The Atmospheric Fund Julia receives this Award, together with the City of Toronto's Josie Scioli, for her leadership role in the Transform TO initative and for her efforts in advancing climate solutions in the Greater Toronto & Hamilton Area. Julia has held senior leadership positions in the environmental sector for nearly 30 years, managing campaigns and organizations, defining strategy and policy, and inspiring public and private action to address air pollution and climate change.

DAVE HARVEY - Founding Executive Director, Park People Dave receives this Award for his work with Park People, a national charity that builds strong communities by animating and improving parks, placing them at the heart of life in the city. Through Park People, he has ignited a movement for citizen led engagement in Toronto's city parks including the start of 110 new Park Friends groups across Toronto's 44 Wards.

NADHA HASSEN Nadha receives this award for her work which focuses on the link between urban green spaces and mental health. As a research fellow at the Wellesley Institute, Nadha published a series of reports. In collaboration with Jane’s Walk and Building Roads Together, Nadha also facilitated a Walk Lab in the Regent Park community to identify aspects of urban green space that promote or reduce mental health and well-being.
